Last year was challenging for us, but it also shaped who we are today
In May 2025, we received a demand. Pay or watch everything disappear. We refused to pay criminals. He destroyed four years of systems he could never finish. He also destroyed seven years of our blog posts and translations. We deleted our live site to protect you, knowing it would be a difficult task to rebuild.
We started fresh. Blind. No blueprints. This was not an accident. We decided to remain a business that can deliver. Because we knew your cats needed us.
Through all of this, we did not take any shortcuts with our cat food. It is #meatonlycatfood, the same formula. The downtime gave us the opportunity to grow in new ways. Strengthening our cooperation with Voimaëlain in Finland, KrakVet close to us in Poland, exploring new partnerships with online stores across Europe, connecting more closely with owners of cats with diabetes and kidney problems, being featured again in PetfoodIndustry News, and enjoying cat shows again.
We rebuilt almost everything in house. Every page. Every translation. Every product. With a small, trusted circle. Learning on the job and expanding our master’s degrees to new levels.
He left plenty of fingerprints. And he keeps adding more every day since May. We are cooperating with international law enforcement and involved parties. By now, we are experts in more than just cat food. Cybersecurity too. Not the expertise we planned. But expertise we earned.
We know these things happen. To small businesses. To big companies. To people. No one is immune. We know the rebuilding took time. We are grateful to everyone who stayed with us. We are grateful to our new customers who found us along the way. And we are sorry to the customers we lost.
You were here for us. We are here for you. Thank you for sticking with us. Your loyalty kept us going through 2025. Your patience gave us time to rebuild properly. We are stronger now. And we are not going anywhere.
