The link between lifestyle, nutrition and longevity
How long your cat lives happily and healthily depends on many factors. Its breed, whether it lives indoors or goes outside, its activity level, diet, and any underlying health conditions all influence longevity. As owners, we can influence many of these things.
Indoor cats generally live longer than those who roam freely outside, and active cats tend to live longer than sedentary ones (even if those 1 am zoomies keep you awake, they are good for your cat!). One of the most important areas where owners make a difference is nutrition. A proper, balanced diet directly affects both the quality and length of a cat’s life.
Cats are true carnivores, which means their diet should consist entirely of meat. They cannot be vegetarian, even if their owner is. Their digestive system is simply not designed to process vegetables or grains. A complete and balanced diet that meets all nutritional needs helps maintain and improve your cat’s overall health, vitality, and mental well-being.
At 3coty® we are continually developing new products to support cats at every life stage, from kittens to seniors, helping improve their quality of life. We welcome your thoughts, ideas, and the needs of your individual cats.

Did you know?
The word longevity comes from Latin roots meaning “long life,” but across cultures it carries a deeper meaning. In many Eastern traditions, longevity is not measured only in years but in balance, vitality, and harmony of body and mind. In Western culture, the term often reflects not just how long we live, but how well we live. At 3coty® we believe the same applies to our cats. Longevity is not only about adding years to their lives, but about ensuring those years are filled with energy, comfort, and joy.
