New food for senior cats supports digestion
As cats get older, their nutritional needs often change. Their digestive system can get sluggish as their bodies age. When this happens, it can lead to digestive discomfort or painful constipation. Two of the first three flavors in the line are monoproteins, and the third launch product is predominantly turkey, with lots of chicken and Antarctic Krill.
This mousse cat food is made with a mixture of turkey legs, necks, hearts and livers of turkey for the full breadth of nutrition from meat and enriched with 1% brown algae. The algae provides support to vital ?fiber to assist the digestive process, often sluggish in older cats.
This chicken wet cat food is made from legs, wings, hearts and livers to provide a complete source of nutrients. Spirulina has been added, which provides an immune system boost for cats managing diseases or injuries. The brown algae makes this mousse easy on the digestive system, to reduce the risk of constipation.
The basis of this mousse cat food for senior cats is turkey legs and hearts and chicken wings and livers – all the natural sources of nutrients for cats. The 3% Antarctic krill provides a further source of animal protein, this one particularly rich in Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids and astaxanthin. Combined with the digestive support from brown algae, this is an ideal food for older cats.
